Welcome to our new apprentice!

As we continue to grow as a business, we have brought in some new young talent to our apprenticeship scheme. In direct partnership with Islington Council we have appointed Alfie on our Finsbury Tower project.

South East Engineering Installations Ltd intended to inspire and mould a new generation, however we have been the ones left feeling inspired by Alfie’s enthusiasm & great work ethos. Due to losing his previous work placement as a result of the current pandemic, Alfie was keen to join a team of experienced individuals with a wealth of experience within the construction industry to continue his apprenticeship and development.

In return for Alfie’s enthusiasm we offer on the job training where he will master his expertise in electrical installation and gain an understanding of testing and inspecting to a professional standard.
We are excited to be a part of his continued development plan and look forward to supporting him with his career progression.

The award is part of an ongoing refresh of favoured suppliers and consultants for the residential developer – one of the UK’s most successful social businesses.

SEE is one of 12 specialist MEP companies to have been awarded a place on the Electrical framework respectively. Between them they will take a share of a programme of works worth £80m annually.

John Nicholls, the company’s managing director, says of the news: “I feel very proud and privileged that we have been awarded a place on the L&Q framework for this specialist MEP package of works.

“It is also testament to the strength of our people, as without them the business would not have become what it is today.

“What hasn’t changed since those early days is our ability to collaborate and build trusted relationships with our customers and we look forward to doing exactly that with L&Q as a new customer moving forwards.”

The framework will run from 2020 to 2024 and is and is estimated to involve between £800 million and £900 million worth of housing projects including new builds, refurbishments and mixed-use developments.
